The second day of the Inversion therapy seminar in Osnabrück started with an introduction to Extension Inversion therapy. Marjorie Kasten showed some inversion video from her clinic and explained the indications for Extension Inversion Therapy. Again the participants were very interested and questioned Marjorie Kasten about her work in the clinic. Only from the questions it was clear that the german FDM therapists who tokk part in this event think in and work with the Fascial Distortion Model a lot in their clinic.
For the Extension Inversion Therapy Marjorie Kasten uses the Teeter Sport Inversion table. She also showed how to use the Teeter table to perform one- legged inversion.

To start the practical part she treated a partcipant with re-folding injuries in the neck. First Marjorie Kasten treated some Triggerbands and then started Refolding of neck and head (see picture). The refolding were followed by unfolding techniques on the Invertrac. In the end there was only still some stiffness in the upper back, but the rest was gone.
The next treatment was a participant with long- standing hip and other complaints. He was treated with one-legged Inversion and could obviously move better after the treatment.
After the morning break Marjorie Kasten treated a patient with neck complaints that occured without obvious mechanical relation. Unfoldings and Refoldings, triggerbands and CDs were treated and ended with the Hallelujah- Technique.

The treatment was followed by a hands- on session where the participants worked on the Invertracs and the Teeter Inversion tables. Several stubborn complaints were treated while the participants worked on each other under the supervision of Marjorie Kasten.
After all these information from Marjorie Kasten and her long time FDM experience and lots of FDM techniques everybody agreed it was necessary to go back into the everyday FDM clinic and just practise and come together in about a year to get new corrections and input.
Marjorie Kasten had answered all the individual questions and shared her personal experiences and approaches with the FDM therapists.
In the end a big applause went out to Markus Nagel and his affectionate organization and the brilliant translator Jenny Parkinson, before Marjorie Kasten was honoured through standing ovations for her lovely work and enthusiastic handling of all the questions and requests. She was asked by the audience to come back in 2013!
